Prestigious Travel UK, is based in Kent, known as The Garden of England. John & Diana started the business in 2008 with one mission in mind, build amazing vacation memories, and never to be a stranger to our guests.

This is us the Team, Diana, Olivia, Ellie and myself. We are here to help you with your travel planning, we are as invested and dedicated as you are to having the most perfect vacation and experience. Small team with big ideas for you, your partners and family.

John Calthorpe is the Owner and Head Travel Planner and has been building customised vacations for the North American traveler for nearly two decades. After leaving school at 16 John went straight into the Army and served 9 years with The Royal Artillery based in Germany. Having decided that becoming a travel agent was what he really wanted to do he entered Canterbury Christ Church University and studied European Business Studies and Management and then enlisted the help and support of his wife Diana who takes care of all the administration involved in the running of a successful travel agency. They have enjoyed many wonderful trips around the UK, Ireland testing their itineraries and their main priority has, and always will be, the safety and enjoyment of their guests.

Behind all good men is a great woman, Diana takes care of all admin and accounts, making sure everything and everyone is paid, so our amazing tours go without a hitch. John and Diana have been married for 23 years, brought up three children and worked with John since the start in 2008, they make a great team. She loves to go on their busman holidays exploring new places, and especially testing out new hotels and their facilities.

Ellie works alongside John, building customised itineraries, she has attended travel events in both Ireland & Scotland, giving her first hand knowledge of many of the experiences and understanding the logistics of the countries which is important when itinerary building, she is always learning and fully committed to building the best packages. Outside of work she is learning Crochet, enjoys going to festivals and spending time with her friends and family, her favourite place in the UK is The Norfolk Broads.

Olivia, has been with the company for two years, she looks after all the operations of our confirmed clients, making sure everything and everyone is booked and ready for their arrival. Olivia is very methodical and has a great memory being in charge of operations is a perfect fit for her talents and skill, she attends several tourism events for us during the course of the year meeting with our suppliers. Outside of work Olivia likes to Bake, socialise with her friends and enjoys her family holidays all over Europe. Olivia’s favourite place in the UK is Cornwall.

Say hello to Cali & Rex, Rex is under the desk of Diana, where he stays most the day when she is in, Cali likes to come in and out of the office, just checking we are all still working and seeing if there are any snacks on offer.
